When everyone else comes first

Your needs deserve space too.

Perhaps you are the person who remembers everything, keeps the peace and makes sure everyone else is okay. You may look as though you are coping while feeling exhausted, resentful or alone.

You might struggle to say no, find yourself accepting less than you need, or question your own judgement after a difficult relationship. You may want things to change without knowing where to begin.

We can look at both the patterns you have learned and what is happening in your life now, including unequal responsibilities, unmet needs and how you are being treated. There is room to explore what you want, what feels difficult and what you would like to do next.

Wherever you are right now

Support for where you are now.

You do not need a diagnosis or a clear explanation before reaching out. We can begin with what feels difficult in your life today.

Dating

Dating is leaving you anxious or doubting yourself.

You may overthink messages, feel unsettled by inconsistent attention, or find it difficult to hold onto your boundaries. We can explore what you need from dating and how to make choices that feel right for you.

In a relationship

You feel lonely, overlooked or responsible for everything.

Perhaps you carry the emotional and practical load, avoid difficult conversations, or feel guilty asking for more. Our work gives you space to understand what is happening and consider your needs and choices.

After a breakup or divorce

The relationship has ended, but you still feel lost.

You may be grieving the relationship, questioning your judgement or struggling to imagine what comes next. We can explore the support you need, whether that involves making space for grief in therapy or working towards specific next steps in coaching.

People-pleasing and boundaries

Saying no feels harder than putting yourself last.

You may find yourself managing other people's feelings, agreeing when you want to say no, or worrying that having needs makes you difficult. We can explore these patterns and practise expressing what matters to you.

Whether you are single, dating, in a relationship, separating, or wondering who you are after years of putting your career first, you can begin with your own experience. We will discuss whether therapy or coaching fits your needs. I also offer couples therapy.

Approach

Support matched to what you need.

I offer both therapy and coaching, and we agree which service you are receiving before we begin. Your needs, goals and current circumstances guide that choice.

In therapy, we can explore emotional distress, relationship patterns and difficult experiences, using talking therapy and EMDR where appropriate.

In coaching, we focus on personal goals, decisions and practical changes, using reflection, exercises and agreed actions between sessions.

Whichever service you choose, we regularly review what is helping and whether the approach remains appropriate.

  • An introductory call

A free 15-minute conversation to discuss what you are looking for and explore which service may suit you.

  • Agreeing the focus

We agree whether we are working in therapy or coaching, what you want support with and how sessions will work.

  • Working together

Sessions follow the approach we have agreed, with space to review your needs and progress.

  • Reviewing the support

We discuss what is helping and whether any change in focus or service is needed.

Where this leads

What we can work on together.

Your goals guide the work. Depending on whether we are working in therapy or coaching, these are some of the areas we can explore.

Understand your relationships

Recognise familiar patterns and consider how your current relationships affect you.

Make space for your needs

Notice what matters to you and practise expressing it without automatically putting everyone else first.

Build boundaries

Explore what you are comfortable with and work on responding when your limits are overlooked.

Rebuild self-trust

Work towards greater confidence in your judgement and the decisions you make about your life.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. An introductory call is a place to begin.

Therapy and coaching offer different ways to work with me. You can explore both options below, or start with a free 15-minute introductory call if you are unsure which would suit you.

Individual therapy

Therapy for women

Space to understand your experiences, work through emotional distress and explore patterns that keep you feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself.

Therapy may be appropriate when relationship difficulties, grief or past experiences are causing distress or affecting your daily life. We can explore people-pleasing, relationship anxiety, self-worth and boundaries while considering both your history and what is happening now.

I draw on talking therapy, attachment-informed approaches and EMDR where appropriate. We agree the focus together and work at your pace.

What we can work on

  • Relationship anxiety and recurring distress.
  • Difficult or traumatic experiences.
  • Grief following separation or divorce.
  • People-pleasing, boundaries and self-worth.
  • Understanding how past experiences and current relationships affect you.

Individual coaching

Confidence, boundaries and relationship coaching

Practical support to clarify what you want, strengthen your boundaries and take steps towards a life that gives your needs more space.

Coaching is a collaborative way to work towards specific personal goals. You might want to practise saying no, approach dating with clearer boundaries, make a decision or rebuild routines and direction after a relationship has ended.

We identify what matters to you, explore what gets in the way and agree manageable actions to practise between sessions. Coaching can include reflection on feelings and familiar patterns, while keeping the focus on your goals and the changes you want to make.

What we can work on

  • Clarifying your needs, values and priorities.
  • Practising boundaries and assertive conversations.
  • Making decisions with greater confidence.
  • Approaching dating with clearer expectations.
  • Creating routines and personal goals after a breakup.
  • Following through on changes you have chosen.

Coaching focuses on personal development and practical change. It does not include EMDR, trauma processing or treatment for mental-health conditions.

What is the difference?

Therapy offers space to work with emotional distress, difficult experiences and relationship patterns, with EMDR available where appropriate.

Coaching focuses on agreed goals, decisions, skills and practical steps. It can involve emotions and reflection, but its purpose is personal development rather than treating trauma or mental-health conditions.

Both approaches are collaborative and can address current difficulties. The choice depends on the support you need and what we agree to work on.

Not sure which to choose?

You do not need to decide alone. During a free 15-minute introductory call, we can discuss what you are looking for and whether therapy, coaching or another form of support would be appropriate.

Lisa has provided me with invaluable support. I've felt comfortable openly sharing my struggles and challenges without fear of judgement, and have always had confidence in Lisa's expert knowledge and guidance. Questions

Frequently asked.

Do you offer therapy or coaching?

Both. Therapy can address emotional distress, difficult experiences and relationship patterns, with EMDR available where appropriate. Coaching focuses on personal goals, decisions, boundaries and practical changes. We agree which service you are receiving before sessions begin.

How do I know which service to choose?

A free 15-minute introductory call gives us a chance to discuss what you want help with. You can express a preference, and we will consider together whether therapy, coaching or another form of support would be appropriate.

Will coaching include EMDR?

No. EMDR is offered within therapy where appropriate. Coaching sessions focus on goals, reflection and practical actions.

Can I change from coaching to therapy, or the other way around?

We can review your needs together. If a different service seems appropriate, we will discuss the change and agree its focus, fee and terms before switching.

I don't know why I'm unhappy — I just know I am. Is that enough to start?

Yes. Most people arrive without a diagnosis or a clear story, just a feeling that something isn't right. Naming what's underneath it is part of the work, not something you need to work out before we start.

What is EMDR, and will we use it every session?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy approach often used alongside talking therapy to help process difficult or stuck experiences. Not every session uses it — we'll agree together what's helpful, at a pace that feels safe.

Do you see couples as well as individuals?

Yes. I offer individual therapy and coaching for women, and couples therapy for partners who want to explore their relationship together.

How do sessions work?

Individual therapy and coaching sessions take place online and last 50 minutes. Therapy is £85 per session and coaching is £75 per session. Couples therapy sessions last 60 minutes and cost £120. You can begin with a free 15-minute introductory call.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes, within the standard professional and legal limits of confidentiality that apply to all regulated therapy in the UK, which I'll talk you through before we begin working together.

How do I book an initial conversation?

Use the details in the contact section below to get in touch, and I'll come back to you to arrange a short initial call.
